SUMMER PLANS

This summer I will go on vacation outside the country with my best friend, we will go to Peru in February, specifically to Arequipa, Cuzco, Aguas Calientes, Lima and Machu Picchu.

In addition to going with my best friend, we will go with his father and his girlfriend. When we are there we want to enjoy the beaches and visit many tourist places like Machu Picchu and the Mountain of seven colors.

I don't plan to work in the summer, because I saved money by doing academic collaborations and other jobs during the year. During the holiday months and before this great trip to Peru, I intend to travel a couple of days with my partner to some beautiful place and with my friends from school to the beach for a few days.



I decided to enjoy these vacations without pressure, since next year I have to do my professional practice, in addition to the process to obtain my university degree and I will have little time to enjoy.

I have very little time to really start an adult life in the workplace, for this reason I decided to have sporadic jobs to raise money and be able to go on vacation this summer. 

Although I will have several months of vacation, I feel that I will lack time to do everything I want to do, but I hope to enjoy what I can do because they are my last vacation without responsibilities of adult life

MY FUTURE JOB

I would love to work in an independent media. When I went to school and started my love for journalism I wanted to work in a newspaper however, now, after studying this profession for four years and being closer to obtaining the degree I think that working in a newspaper where labor exploitation is too much is not what I want for my life.  I would like to work in a communication medium where deep reports are written and not daily news.  I imagine it as an intense work because of the emotional burdens that the researched stories carry but gratifying for the same reason. I think this work will be a mix between writing in an office and going outside to investigate so I hope to have the possibility to travel. I would also like to complement this work by dedicating myself to do classes at the university in the future because I like and are very interested in teaching and the salary is not as low as in traditional journalism. MY FAVORITE MOVIE / TV SERIES

My favorite tv series is Skins. This tv serie describes the everyday life of a group of adolescents in Bristol, UK. Skins is my favorite tv series because I start watching when I was a teenager and felt identified with characters and their problems. My favorite characters of Skins is Emily because has the same name that I and she is also lesbian. Skins has two versions, the british and the U.S version but the best is the british one, in fact the Skins U.S was canceled after one season by contrast Skins U.K had seven season and two books about the holidays of the characters. I would like to watch kind of series with characters that interesting lives or it’s about social conflicts. Some of my favorite tv series are Orphan Black, Sense8 and Orange is the New Black. The last tv series I watch was “Las chicas del cable” It is a story set in Spain in the 20’s in this series, four telephone operators fight for women's rights.
